The Behavioral Health for Tobacco-Free Living initiative elevates tobacco-dependence as an area of concern by identifying strengths, barriers and opportunities within the agency. The Behavioral Health for Tobacco-Free Living Initiative can provide the following:

  • Build staff capacity by providing training on best-practices for addressing tobacco-dependence
  • Partner with agencies to revise, update and/or create effective tobacco-dependence treatment frameworks and assessment tools
  • Collaborate with agencies to create a smoke-free environment to promote the health and well-being of the community (partner: Advancing Tobacco-Free Communities grant)
